| Trip around Ahmedabad in a Tempo Trax Gama I have been to Ahemedabad umpteen number of times, but never got the chance to really explore Ahmedabad. In my last trip though (On 09/12/2009), I ran into an old friend of mine who is a tad too adventurous. He took me to show around the city and It was quite an experience to visit some very old and historic Mughal buildings there. To start with we roamed around for half an hour searching for a driver who would know the city in and out and would also serve as our tour guide. After 45 minutes of selecting and rejecting drivers we settled upon the driver of an 8 year old Tempo Trax Gama. He took us to these places. The Mosques and "Dargah's" the driver took us to visit   This one reminded me the Mosque in Fathepur Sikri    The "Chatri's" (The hindi/urdu for umberella)   The Tempo Trax Gama. According to the driver it the "Pahadon mein Chalne wali Mard Gaadi" - The Male vehicle for the mountains     |
