Stupendous! Fantabulous! Words fail to reach me.

Eagerly awaiting your snaps and an excellent write-up from Ravvs. This forum will be a great time-pass for me to kill the boredom.

BTW, what is this bandh for tomorrow? I thought all parties were called for a meeting on Jan 5th at NDLY. Ain't seen any news yet in this part of the world.

Right , before the travelogue details , pictures posted by us and the experiences narrated out, I'd like to thank Ravvs for taking my suggestion in earnest and actually making this drive possible . It was his enthusiasm that got me going to revisit Arunachal and see it as a tourist rather than a working professional. Kudos to him , junior and especially Nazim for the amazing time we have had together .

A special mention to Rav's steed the LAURA as well ! . This trip has been fatigue free , relaxing ( yes its hard to believe) and truly inspiring in making us feel safe. It would not be the same without this car as I've had stints with Scorpios , Boleros, Sumos , NHC , and the erstwhile Indica in and around Arunachal . This car has handled each and every hurdle just the same as the others would and has come out completely unscathed. I'm truly impressed. A big Thanks to Ravvs for doing this trip in YOUR TANK.

Right .. I'm jumping into bed again :-)

Welcome back AP-AP team.

I am sure it must have been a blast. Can't wait for Nazim to unleash his terabyte harddisk assuming full of pictures on us

Hope you have complete log details with kilometers, expenses etc. It would be really helpful for poor souls like us if we decide to do something crazy like this in future.

After checking in around 4.00 a.m after Absynth and Pulsar got off on the way, we just crashed to wake up around 11.00. I have since then gone down and brought some of the luggage up and had a hearty lunch. Checking the thread I came across this:

I have no clue about the precise details, Nazim took care of all the details (gosh, I do not know how he did it and we would not have been able to do the trip without his maintaining accounts. I however know what will help anyone planning to do this trip get approval from their better halves - the shopping!

Here are a few pics of what I bought, Arun and Nazim too bought loads of stuff. We were lucky to find a nice shop in Tawang run by a Tibetan family. They had nice stuff and were not expensive.

Keeping that attire shopping in mind, can we expect the trio to turn up as tibetian monks for the next meet?

@Anurag, all my trip pictures are in Neera's Laptop and she will return to Hyderabad only next sunday so my photoblog will have to wait until mid-next week...Sob Sob !

Great to see you guys back online again and it was wonderful to meet you all.

The adventure did not end as we were coming back as lower Assam had a 48-hour bandh and we were escorted beyond Dhubri by Army and Police respectively. Everything was so eerily quiet and empty...

Tell me more about that, just got up after a start and stop sleep for the whole day. Was driving up from Nameri to Kolkata with again a 4-5 hour sleep break at Siliguri. Reached Kolkata around 3 am, again not before a accident jam at Berhampore!

Anyway lets get on with the travelogue - Nazim surely has been readying to unleash the flurry of some fantastic photos!

And again great meeting you guys and surely we catch ourselves again in some other trip!!
