IMHO, its an autobiographical description of a Road Traveler when he travels on a frequented route by Train for the first time.

I was always fascinated by train journeys. Train journeys show certain aspects of the countryside which you can't see on road travels. On roads, you only see tea shops & hotels

This is the first trainoblog I have read. Very good pictures and equally good narration. Especially the pic where you asked us to ignore what the guy behind you was doing, I was literally ROFLMAO.

Creating something out of nothing was what this jourey all about. Else why were the rest of the passengers not running up and down the train bogey like a small kid.

Basu,

You were traveling in a AC Two Tier compartment right?
How good are the facilities for charging laptops, etc? How were you connected to the WWW during the journey?

If Iuse a single word to describe this, it would be 'fascinating'. It has been said that to understand india you have to take a journey in the trains.
Your perspective is entertaining as well as inspiring. Most of the things have been there but never paid any attention.
Never knew the locos are two stroke engines.

The meetings, intersections of tracks are just like the chapters of our life, how we come across different people
some we remember, rest forgotten. The beauty of countryside, changing geography bridges across rivers and
that special noise the coaches making while traversing the bridges. The gentle rocking motion acting like a mother swinging her baby to sleep at night.
Every thing is enchanting and never a dull moment.
Kudos to your efforts. Keep it up pal.

Connection was CDMA (Cant Drive Me Atlast) and not 3G and was erratic. Charging point was available and I carried a 3 pin plug to avoid fist-fight type situations with co passengers.

The Bulk of the photos last night was uploaded at Vizag where I got HSIA/3G on my Photon+

As I said before it is like creating something out of the 'ubiquitous emptiness'.

And yes each of my 'Photographic Subjects' whether living or non-living objects tell the audience my story.

Thanks. The Logo is inspired from International Highway Signage.

This is a long due visualised one. It was quite a challenge for me to distill out inspirational narratives out of the compulsively boring settings.
