The Swiss Alps and Turkish Culture: A PHOTOBLOG!

Hello Everyone!

Here i am once again presenting to you a trip i had done almost about 2 years back. Hence i am going to let you enjoy through the pictures only as I wont have much to write. But there are details about the all the pics. So, have fun and feel free to ask anything.

This trip was done with my college mates and hence missed my wife (newly married). (I had to go as there were credits at stake!)
Hence could not go into the snow and enjoy much. Would love to go there once more. hehe!

One teaser pic:

This image was taken by me from my hotel balcony, and believe me I almost felt i was in the deep freezer of a very good refrigerator! Brrrrrrr....!

Turkey Pictures

I'm Starting with some pictures from Turkey. I was in Istanbul and it is a wonderful wonderful city. The architecture is hugely awesome and the roads, shops, infrastructure is fully developed and also retaining its heritage and all the monuments and museums. I was even thinking about settling there for a moment, hehe! I was here for only a few days and trust me, you need at least a month to really enjoy the whole city, leave alone other amazing cities.

Isin't that the bridge that connects Europe and Asia??

IIRC it also connects the old town to new town along the Bosporous

Across Sea of Maramar to an island.

Hey guys,

3rd installment and we're still in turkey. Following pictures are from a small boat we commandeered and took it to a small island about an hour away! The island is almost a small mountain and very scenic and beautiful.

Inside the YENI CAMI (New mosque!)

Another set of photographs from the famous and beautiful masjids of istanbul!

Majority of pics in this set are from the YENI CAMI, a masjid built in the 1600s. It is adjacent to the harbor from where we took a boat. A couple of pics from another masjid too!
