Hi bsdbsd

THnx for that and the difference between the 2 routes is no too much as well. I will try that route out this time.

If I were to leave Bangalore by 6 AM, where would you suggest I stop for breakfast on the way.

Also on the way back, I am leaving Pondicherry at around 12 noon, which would be a good place to stop for lunch?

If you leave Bangalore by 6 am, you can have Breakfast at A2B (Adayar Ananda Bhavan) before krishnagiri. Its a popular one on the route to krishnagiri with BP fuel station, so u can't miss it.

On you return journey, may be you can have brunch at Pondy and then leave for bangalore. Just a thought. Else, you can have food at Vellore where you have plenty of options

How is the road from Vellore to Gingee? And the condition of NH66 there onwards? Since its more than 60Km detour, road should be really good to be used as an alternative to NH66.

Interesting, why 4 nights ? what so special or can you give more info.

The day you reach <insert place name here> will be spent in getting settled down, late lunch, beach-walk and dinner. The next two days are the real two days you can spend in resort (and city), while the 4th day will be spent in packing and leaving for home. Kids require at least two days in the pool. Walking to and from the beach will sap your energy, so allocate separate time for the same. Hey..you took a break to read that book you always wanted to read..or plan your next steps, or spend some quite time with your spouse. This is my thumb rule for all vacations: Minimum 4 nights, Maximum 6 nights. Only these can be considered as real vacation. Otherwise, they are just outings wherein you would have spent more energy than what you would have liked to get back.

Hi Ravi

Thanks for that. I will be returning through Vellore, so that might be a good option.

Thanks for responding. I am just back yday and yet to download pictures. Tomorrow by this time I will upload a few pics. Zest is great for kids, and one should stay there for minimum 4 nights.

As promised, I have attached some pics..please check them out.

I would be there in couple of weeks at the same resort (for 4 nights) and I am more excited after looking at the pics. Any other information and tips on the resort would be helpful... How was the food, activities etc.
