Well its pretty simple actually..I hired a local car for the day with a driver who knew the directions to all places I wanted to visit. I didn't enter any of the monuments be it red fort, lotus temple, the main area in humayun's tomb thus avoided the long queues and saved precious time. I was traveling alone (no one to slow me down) and just had my camera with me (no bags so no time lost at security checks). I also didn't stop for lunch, snacks etc. instead I had a heavy breakfast and carried some water and snacks in the car.
Then first stop was Raj Ghat for around 15 mins (though the actual tour began from Chandni chowk). I got off near the Red Fort entrance and hired a cycle rickshaw for a proper tour around Chandni Chowk (it was the my lucky day as even the rickshaw guy when to stop and slow down for pictures...all the Chandni Chowk pictures are from the rickshaw). I didn't even get down once except at Jama Masjid. Next up was the Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. Then it was time for the Humayun's Tomb. I then went to Qutub Minar before finally ending the tour at Lotus Temple. (11am -5pm thereby avoiding office traffic)
@vkochar: I used a Canon 500D with a 10-20mm Sigma lens for the Delhi Pictures!
What does yeh to bada toingg hai mean? Some kind of slang?

:D
This line ("Ye to bada toing hai") was used in the advertisements by a company of undergarments. It is one of those ads which were banned by the I & B Ministry in the year 2008.
Nice pictures Robimahanta.
Loved the Chandni Chowk and the Lotus temple pictures.
