| Thanks All!!! We returned yesterday and today was a jungle in the office!! I will post my travelogue shortly!! But just to add to the thread here, we took the Kodai - Palani - Dharapuram - Kangeyam - Uthukuli - Sathy - Dimbam - Chamaraj Nagar - Nanjangud - Mysore. Luvurrride, the newly laid roads are lovely and the route is pretty scenic. The locals here suggested it and I was glad i took their advice. I had read Dwind's travelogue and planned to take the route throught Uthukuli RS (The flyover is done!!). The roads upto Chamarajnagar was excellent, driving at near 100 kmph all through.  The moment we crossed this place towards Nanjangud, the roads become pretty much non existent. The last 63 kms slowed us down quite a bit. nkrishnap, there are 27 hairpin bends at Dimbham, all coming fast and furious!! Anyways, more in detail later. |
