I do have some beautiful snaps of the NY city (at night time) taken from the observatory of the empire state building using my DSLR camera. Also some snaps of DC and near by places. Those are high resolution images of 5-6 MB each and I could not upload them.

Nice snaps though!

I would love to see the night time shots of NYC. Please resize them and upload here if you can.

I would urge you to start a new thread for DC. Or I am gonna start one as soon as i am done with NY, you can share those snaps in that thread.

These are the last set of pics for Empire State Building.

Some information about Madam Tussuad's Wax Museum

- Its open 365 days a year. The batch to go inside would be at 10 pm.
- Its advisable to buy tickets online. There are many coupons that can save you as much as 50% of the original price.
- There are two type of tickets available. An all access pass and only the wax museum pass. All access pass is $35 and only wax museum pass is $29.
- Please opt for ALL-ACCESS pass as it is vfm and gives access to 4 important part of museum.
- All access pass include wax museum, scream, cinema 4d and how the statues are made.

Apart from wax museum, Scream is worth the visit. Obviously it is not for weak-hearted as it can get real scary with live sculptors trying to scare the hell out of you. Two of my friends left half way while me and my fiance finished the whole scenario and it was chilling as well as fun.

Cinema 4D is a different experience and everyone must watch it. Its basically 3d plus realism of effects like once inside the water the bubbles come out, and those air bubbles are indeed blown, water is sprinkled, air whooshes from side of seats, a small plastic rod pokes you from back, brushes tinkle your feet when rats are running around you. Makes for some fun time.

There is 'Ripley's believe it or not' place just to the right side of this museum, if you have time, do visit that. its a great place.

Hope this helps

Hey! you go ahead n start the new thread, I don't want to spoil the enthusiasm with which you are sharing your snaps and experiences! I myself was thinking of uploading those images for quite a some time and I couldn't do it because of various reasons including my own lethargy!! he he he he! I sure will re-size the snaps and post as soon as I get some free time and the mood!

Have a great DC trip! And if possible, make it to Shenadoh Park and Luray Caverns.

Yeah. Don't miss out on Shenandoah. Also try out the sunset drive when you are up there.
