Sriraj - Feeling sorry that I missed this trip, but there was no choice. Good shot of the model, didn't see Rocky anywhere.

Laluji - Boss is always right, how dare they correct the master.

Hey Raj, nice pics. especially the waterfall photo in your first post. Which camera are you using? an SLR? Also I wanted to know how did the Xylo fare on a long trip like this? was it comfortable to drive on the hair-pin bends and how was the fuel efficiency?

Hey carvalho i never have problems with my xylo on the long highway run. But i did have some trouble in the narrow hair pins as this is a huge vehicle to drive through the single lane hair pins. But i was only about 3mins behind these guys when we checked at some stop on the hill.fuel efficiency was about 10.8kmpl with a/c.

Hey thanks for the info Chikku. The Canon EOS 1000 is a good entry level DSLR. I'm planning to get one soon too. Your picture quality has reaffirmed my faith in this particular camera. The non IS lens in the kit is a decent enough lens I think, though some would say IS offers better resolution.

Thanks rocky for the feedback. The Xylo no doubt is very refined but I was bit concerned about the body roll on hair-pin bends.

Very interesting! Didn't even know this place existed. Have already been to Yercaud. Will visit Kolli Hills next in all probability.

Could someone shed light on accommodation and food in Kolli Hills?
