After a good session we get up in the morning pretty late, and realize it is still Saturday and wow

Me and my wife have a stroll in the park and have tea and coffee respectively. Rocky gets out of his rom and i start posing, the results are above to be seen, Chikku is still glues to his tv in the room; still having hangover of all the matches he watched the previous night.

Varsha posing for green tea ad.

Coakers walk is just a stone throw away from the resort. We all get ready have breakfast buffet menu on the first day was like this

Idle,
Hot vada
Khara bath
Bread butter jam
egg burji
Onion roast
with all the required side dishes.

barely able to move our butts slowly walk towards coakers walk; from here on i will let the pictures do the talking;

also shows how quickly the fog covers the view

Brilliant pics Rocky, Sriraj and Chikku.

You guys not only saved time and energy but a lot more in terms of fuel and the environment. I would like to call this as a ECO trip.

Missed this one for more than one reason, waiting to make up for this loss. :(

Is this resort the one bang next to the entrance of Coaker's walk (on the left side, a little below in elevation) ? I've had lunch there with my wife during our honeymoon trip. Beautiful 6-year-old memories are flooding in now.. I am glued to the pics!

The one your talking about is villa retreat. The resort we stayed in was on the road next to the entrance of coaker's walk.

All the rest pics are from coaker's park. you can see how fast the view keeps changing because of the fog. Nature is a very talented magician, one minute its there the next minute its gone.

Nice pictures there Raj & Rocky. Seems you had a superb trip. Kodai looks more enchanting in rains though it may not in reality .

After the walk we did the 15 odd kms loop where most of the tourist places is located.
the loop is littered with views that are enchanting

first we visited

1.Upper lake view,
2. Guna caves,
3. Museum and observatory
4. Pillar rocks and Shola falls
5. Vattakanal Falls
6. Liril falls ( absolutely no water they have built a threshold to hold the water as there is construction going on. so no pictures of it)
7. Fun park ( this was the best )
8. pine forest

Here pics of vatakanal falls and 2 from fun park. Chikku please upload photos of me jumping like a langur on the trampoline. Only me and varsha had the guts to try this sport without safety nets or straps.

Sriraj wanted to but was not able to for reasons known only to us.

This is one pic i have of vatakanal falls. Mind you the water you see is the sewage water of kodai, so did not feel like taking more as it was stinking(people spoiling nature). The guy you see with the blue jeans and green shirt at the side actually drank this water and washed his face with it yuck..
