I am checking for the link, will post that.

got it An Island Resort, Kurumgad Island, Off Karwar, Karnataka
Let's keep max 2 places to visit in 1 day stay and enjoy it to the fullest.

No point visiting 3 or 5 places and getting disappointed with no time to spend there.

Still one more doubt. When you say we have to take a jeep, is it mandatory, in the sence is it accessible only by SUVs and not advisable to go by a sedan / hatch. As some of us may have in mind
You can take your sedan or hatch in summer only, no way in rainy season.

@asdon, I guess you are referring to the THE GREAT OUTDOORS ISLAND RESORT, KURUMGAD ISLAND, KARWAR, INDIA

Trust me its one of the best places I have ever been on the sea shore. The ride to the island on speed boat, dolphin's view ride on boat, Watersports, Food is awsome, hospitality is good. Not many rooms available there though, which is actually very good.

Yes, thats the place I am talking about, we may plan it for a 3 day trip not 2 day like this one, so either a friday or monday off, and start the journey same time we started, on thursday night so we will have entire friday and satday, and we can come back on sunday within 5pm, so proper rest will be there for Monday war room. Guys decide on this, I might divert my Goa plans to this one

This place is 532km from bangalore, via same route, we can decrease the travel time by 2 hrs if we can reach tumkur before 10pm, night drive will be the time saver as day traffic will slow us down, I am taking 9 hrs avg(70kmph speed will take us there in 7.5 hrs, include brk and ghat section to this and 9 hrs will be enough)

Well, initially we felt quite disappointed when we got the news as we wanted to Safari to be a part of the convoy as well.

Good photos of the truck

But thankfully, the damage was reversible.

Guys,

A friend did this region, this weekend. It raining cats and dogs!
A waterfall pouring on the windshield during the drive and near zero visibility!

Jog's water levels were amazingly high it seems. No visibility for even the falls!
Only fog. Quite a spectacle it would have made!
