hehe!! ya ya!! go ahead!! carry on!!
Jealous for sure but just for the diesel efficiency.
Just last week drove 465kms on 3/4th of my 45litre fuel tank in the Ikon,so its not too bad though, and on better roads it can go upto 500kms.
But you will make me more jealous if you post some more beautiful pics of your travel. So carry on mate, I am all jealous!!!

Great pics, looks like you had a really good time there!

Valparai is a lovely place - a pleasant surprise when I visited last year, looking forward to another trip sometime!

Last day - Return Trip

Our original plan was to go to Top-slip on the last day. But people there advised that it's not worth because the weather was very hot there and we don't get get to see many animals. So dropped the Top-slip plan.

Had a relaxing breakfast and started from guesthouse at 1000am.

More memories from this gifted place: (I really envy the people living here):

Roads down the hill

I would say this is the most dangerous curve I have ever seen:

Dangerous highways

Highway between Salem and Krishnagiri - every damn vehicle coming in the opposite direction:

And he says "Enough is enough. I will take care of the driving from here":

And with that I run-out of photos.
End of a memorable and relaxing trip.

We're planning to visit Valparai in the near future and that's the reason why I ended up reaching here

Needless to say, I read the whole travelogues in one go .Yes, I liked the pictures and the captions too. I guess that your son is a hard core Fiat fan . (Yes, the last picture made me feel so)

Those reflections of the A/C vents(which direct air to the windscreen) in the pictures made me nostalgic. I remember those moments in which I used to try hard to get rid off that irritating reflection. But, it was much fun doing so.

I'll be sending you a PM in case if I need any help.

HI Nathan,
Your pics and simple narrations were truely worth remembering. It also appears that you are a doting father and a careful driver as well . However in your last pic I noticed that you left your son on driver's seat with the keys in the ignition hole! Should be careful being a BHPian and a father that this act can be dangerous as kids are smarter and unpredictable than what you and me think they are.

No complaints from my side though. Anyone would rather relax on the lawn than to sweat-out playing tennis on a vacation !!

And btw, first day we stayed here in this bungalow and the next day we shifted to another bungalow named "Valley View" (of the same estate). That's another awesome place with another great caretaker.

Watch this space for more photos - including "Valley View".
