@Sreehari

A question on the Getz snap. Is that Kanakpura road in the background?

If so, then it has improved tremendously!

I was very reluctant to take out the cam while we were at sangam for the fear of getting the cam wet and more over there was slight drizzle as well.

Nice pictures shreehari! I am also planning for such one day trip around Bangalore.

Just one question, Do forest officials allow to enter the forest in personal vehicle or we have to compusorily go in their jeep?

Thanks for the comments buddy.
& regarding entering jungle.There is a road through the forest which can be used just like bandipur & we spotted the deers while driving through this.But then if you are talking about going inside forest ,i guess you will have to use the jungle safari's or something which is provided by resorts like Jungle resorts.We saw one JLR there but then not sure about whether they have safari's.
