Live from Spain :)

Have been in spain for last couple of days. weekends was great outing day, Staurday was the day for understanding Metros and walking across Main City, I am staying near airport, sad :(.

Sunday, I took train to Toledo, what a wonderful place it is, I missed wide angle badly.

yeh cool,

I was in Madrid on offical trip sometime in 2005. I staid in Gran-via, just few steps from El-Corte-engles.

Good to see the snaps buddy, thanks for posting them. I could admire the place then and now.

Great pics. Spain is a real chill out place. Just be careful of purse snatchers and kids trained to snatch your wallet, especially at ATM's

Wow, Gran-Via is one stop from Sol, on Line 1 and Line 5

yes, snatching, pick pocketing is common in madrid. Not just for tourist but for local as well. If anybody getting too friendly, something is wrong, simple back-off

Amazing locales RKB. What a stark contrast between your two travelogues (Leh / Spain). I'm switching back and forth between those too and it's a visual treat.

I was in Spain two years back. That was a great trip. Your pictures are reminding me of the good old days!!

There seems to be hardly any traffic on the road ! Like Bangalore's traffic way back in 1974, when I moved in as a kid

Yeh Rkbharat,

I used to commute till Mendez Alvaro or Delicias from Gran Via,

every day evening I used to spend the time walking the streets or visiting park near Gran via.

Only bitter experience I had in Spain was when I went to watch Bull fight at Plaza De Toros.
