Leaving early from Bangalore (Say 6:00 am) would ensure you hit Belur for lunch after visiting Shravanabelagola.

Vishnu Regency on Biccodu road (less than a km from Temple complex) would be ideal for lunch. Other options would be Sumukha Regency or Vishnu Prasad Hotel. They offer decent Vegetarian North and South Indian meals.

Budget around 1 hour at the Belur Temple (excluding lunch) and around 20-25 minutes of driving time to reach Halebidu from Belur Temple.

Spend an hour at Halebidu and you are good to take the usual route to Hassan via Hagare (10kms), Turn left onto Belur Hassan road, drive for 20 kms to hit Hassan town and finally another 130kms for Mysore from Hassan on a very good road (The same quality that exists between Belur and Hassan).

KSTDC's usual daily package trip starts from Bangalore (Badami House,NR Square) at 7AM, covers Shravanabelagola, Temple Visit plus lunch at Belur, Halebidu temple and finally departs for Bangalore around 4pm to reach by 8pm.

Considering this, you can very well reach Mysore early night itself.

The approximate time to do Halebidu-Hassan-Mysore will be not more than 4 hours.
