It's one of the boring days in the week, Hatredness, Frustrations shows one every one's face as soon as you to come to office. Yes, It's Monday. And it's the only day your boss is early to office and you end up coming late.

09:05 A.M- Boss's white Jetta already in the parking lot.

09:07 A.M - Swiped my Access card and Logged in.

I had spent an productive one hour infront of Coffee Machine,Printer,Telephone,Mobile phone and checking
my personal e-mails.

10:05 A.M -Suddenly i realised that i have not settled my travel and conveyance statements ! While grinning ear to ear i darted my thoughts of spending my first half of the day doing this work and scoot for early lunch.

11:30 A.M - I took the longest possible way (Whole office is in the Ground Floor) to our HR Department and submitted the Statements.

I confront my Boss while i head back to my Little Corner Office (Naa ! My cube is in the corner, i pretend that i have a corner office).

Boss: Wassup ?
Me: Good Morning Sir ? how are you ?
Boss: Morning ! and How are you doing today ?
Me: Fine Sir ! Absolutely Good.
Boss: We need to talk,
Me: Trying to gather all me possible thoughts to check out the probabilty of the discussion and i mentioning them in the most important order.
1) Appraisals 2) Onsite Assignment 3) Role Change 4) Client Visit 5)Conference call in the eveniing 6) Pink Slip.
Me:I compose myself and answered him Anytime, Sir.
Boss: Great, See you at 8o Clock in the Evening !

Me: Saar and

Boss: Just Kidding,i liked your expression.
Me: Sir,Just tell me what do you want to me do and i will do it with out a second thought and you dont need to Butter me up.
Boss: Chalo ! see you in ten at parking lot. (Read Identified Smoking Zone)
Me: Promptly go to parking spot and meet him.
Boss: B.. I wanted a help from you. I want you to be in Goa on 2nd at 2:30 P.M
Me:Goa ? Why ? We dont have any clients there !
Boss: We didn't and now we have. They are stuck up with some configuration of the .... System and i want you to help them.
Me:Grinning (Real Time Ear to Ear) 2nd happens to be Friday, So Sat and Sunday are in goa. And i said sure.
Boss: Why don't you drive down instead of flight. In goa, you dont have rely on taxi's
Me: But it's Monsoon and it will be difficult for a drive, But i will let you know (Thinking like a True BHPian of not willing to loose an opportunity for drive.)
Boss: Let me know by tomo else i will help booking the tickets.

Guys: I would need your inputs.
1) Would you suggest me to drivedown.
2) Any pointers on the road conditions, Routes, Diversions Etc.
3) Any good resort / hotel near Ponda, (Planning to Take my Wify i am driving down.)
4) Any places to must visit, As i am heading to Goa for the first time.

I Love my job, What a way to start a day ! I am sorry as this happend yesterday but could not find time to post it.

Congrats. I am sure your cheeks must be aching since you must have been grinning too long now.

I love the beginning of what might be an interested travelogue.

My advise : Just now call your boss and say YES like a true BHPian before he changes his mind or starts exploring another person.

Then hit the forum for exploring the routes and other options.

1. Why don't you borrow the Jetta from your boss ?

2. Does your boss have a attractive secretary? If yes, see if your boss can ask her to join you to give you company
