You don't know swimming and still chose Andaman?

Well, suggest you to learn swimming immediately and have another trip.
You know why they call married life as Samsara Sagara?

Here's are a couple of images to motivate you. My daughter was almost 1 year old when this happened!

I agree Star. But then if you know something, it adds to the fun!
My wife is interested in arts. She paints a bit. So when I took her to the Roerich art gallery in Manali as a surprise, she was swept off her feat! I'm a mountain man too like her and hike a lot. So those places we could do a lot of hiking.
Honeymoon is more pleasureable when people plan it at places where they can let their hair loose and indulge in what the place has to offer!
Just that I found a streak of been there missed it reading download2live's comment on the foreigners enjoying and him missing out!
I volunteered to teach my wife swimming (as she doesn't know). Hence I steered clear of the waters because I know that she'll have to guard my sandals at the beach till I return if I go to such places!
She's upset with me because I've started a couple of classes for my daughter but not my wife yet!

Yes swimming is a good fun. But in ocean got to be careful. I got trapped once in Puri. The under current pulls you away from shore. That was my first experience with the ocean under currents.

Of course, here the ocean seems quite and inviting.

@download2live: awesome pics! Each one of them. I just hope you have lots of them.

Havelock beaches....!!!!

Shopping time!!! Need a shoulder bag to hold the camera and some food tit bits.

Friendly and very talkative Bengali Gentleman.
Spot the cat.

Honeymoon@Andamans-p1010905.jpg
Road to Radhanagar Beach. There is a jungle trek also through which you can reach it. But taking wife along would have been too adventurous since there are some small muddy stretches and canals and ditches to be crossed. But foreigners usually use that route to get more fun out of it.

Taking car to Havelock might not be such a swell idea anyways. This road goes almost all around it. And is not more than 50km. Infact heard its even less than that. Anyone to confirm?

David Hasselhoff anyone?

Reason number 1 why not to miss Radhanagar beach.

Reason number 2 why not to miss Radhanagar beach.

Reason number 3 why not to miss Radhanagar beach.

Reason number 4 why not to miss Radhanagar beach.

More pics coming up.
Will set a record by posting the whole travelouge in one day. Take that Unoczar.

Next update after the 2nd half of game is over. Guys I predict. It will end with penalty shootout.

1. A genuine doubt. Is the cat alive? Appears to be wrapped up in polythene. Does that old man also sell the post cards? He seems to have lots of them.

2. I love the travelogues which tempt me to a place. I am tempted.

3. For me reason 1 is enough.

4. My +1 to penalty shoot out prediction esp after Spain missed out on the penalty.

I really enjoyed the photographs and lovely narration.

^You might have couple of PM's from me(for advise, ahem) when my parents force me to take the plunge.

The cat was live and kicking and rolling among the clothes. Lot of people in Havelock had pet cats. Still dunno why.
Did not notice the postcards.

Have to eat my words on last night's match. But happy that Spain went thru.

Coming up. Lovely sunset and some deep sea adventures.

Congrats Download2Live on your marriage and losing your freedom and right to watch TV

Also one needs to set expectations straight right from Honeymoon itself so that your spouse knows what to expect. My honeymoon was a road trip and I made my wife wait in the service center while the car was getting serviced and got the taste of things to come. In turn she made the rear seat of the car her bed on long trips and it hasn't changed yet ( 5.5 Years into marriage now )

Seeing your travelogue, my urge to visit has been increased and may be I might visit this winter. Please keep the pictures coming

Are there many snakes in havelock island? Normally village people grow cats so that the rats keep away. If rats come in to your home or barn, then they not only destroy your food, but also attract snakes which are higher on the food chain.
Or it could be simple reason like too many stray cats, so they get adopted by the people there.

Well its very green and very dense. So there might be snakes. But there were some very healthy and fat cats.
