Of snakes and MX! How can you not venture?
Those snaps remind of my relative's places in Trichur and Waynad.
Amazingly green and wet.

Thanks, AP. You are right. I am happy to know that human emotions are still precious - to all of us, which I understand from your words.

Of course, it is painful to go back to an empty house at the end of the day... I now understand how my parents would have felt, when I left our home (in Chennai) and took up a job (in Pondicherry). At least my sisters were there, for them.

Amp, I wonder how fast the years have gone by! Now when I read MX6's comments on the time spent with his daughter, I send a silent prayer wishing the same for all fathers out there...

Heh heh ampere. Not ventured out since 2 years is because I get very less time in Udupi. So actually missing out on the snakes. There's been some excellent rains in Udupi this year (like last year and the year before). So hope to find some of those creatures when I go down there in dec for the clean up.

I'll give a message (to the snakes) when I go that side next month, MX6

Anyway, enroute we stop for breakfast, and have this -
Stress buster!!-img_2607.jpg

Don't remember which was this place - Nileshwar or nearby, I think. But the accompaniment was a bit of let down - the 'kadala curry' was made with 'white (kabuli) channa' and not the regular brown one :-( - which is why you don't see it in the picture.

Just stood out and enjoyed the respite from the rain. A typical scene in coastal Karnataka / Kerala village...
Stress buster!!-img_2608.jpg

Do all these people get enough business every day to make a living? That too in such a small place??

And, suddenly I see this, and hurriedly walk up to it - for taking a shot!
(My wife thinks that leaving daughter behind has made me loose my balance - who would shoot a WagonR?)
Stress buster!!-img_2609.jpg

Notice anything special....?

Man, I would have loved to open the bonnet and take a look at what was inside!!

Anybody from Maruti / Suzuki here - see what people expect from you!!!

24 valves. I'm intrigues too. And do pass on the message to the snakes. But take care. They have a way of responding to the message as well.

Incidentally Wagon R has a variant with V6 with 4 valves each

I'll remember. I only hope the response is not in HISSS (or HERSSS) language..

24 valve Wagon R .

Are you sure? It must upwards of 3.0 Litre in V6 - in which the car must be flying......

whats big deal with 24 valves.

Every 4 cyl car has 24 valves like.

1] 4 cylinder x 4 valves------ 16 valves
2] 4 tyres + 1 stepany tyre---- 5 valves
3] a/c line---------------------1 relief valve
4] fuel line---------------------1 relief valve
5] oil line----------------------1 relief valve
-------------------------------------
total------24 valves

simple mathematics!!!!!!!!

I recommend University of Pune to award a honorary Ph.D. to a certain rajababu from Baramati for his outstanding contribution to the field of automobile mechanics....

But, GREAT! You made my day!! I am really rolling here.....

And, unfortunately, my Palio is the 2 valve / cylinder model

Within two days, I will dig out how many parts named ''valve'' are there in a car?

I am sure, there are more than 24!!!!

@vrp,
after posting the exact number of parts named ''valve'', will you recommend my name for Nobel prize for extraordinary work in the field of automobile?
