Well there has been indeed and as this one says my 3rd Delivery. Have a 4th one up on post. The 5th one coming would be again another RD TLog but with some dramatic ending....

@ampere You asking about me and nomadabhi? We wouldn't have crossed paths unless one of us travelled in a time machine
nomadabhi did this 2 years back and I did this last weekend.

I expected that answer! When I read his TL, I thought what a coincidence, here is a guy who is doing it in the weekend and
here is one who is just writing about it!

I never went on bike for long trips in my life and do not expect in future.

Few days back, one member from mumbai pm me about sh4 , the coastal road of Maharashtra.
He is going to do part of that stretch on bike.
It will be amazing trip surely.

One more amazing trip on bike will be lonavala to tamhini via amby valley.
who will try it?
anyone?

This road touch the tamhini at dongarwadi.
Part of this road is very rough only suitable for bikes.
Yeah,
there is a road which runs parallel to cliff of sahydri between tamhini and lonavala via amby valley.

But MX6,
don't try it by your car.

no just kidding, the bird is in hibernation now but will be out in late September, i guess the roads/weather and scenery would be good then too. what say..
please answer the route query
and sorry for OT

EDIT: just saw the post. Thanks, guess that route is out of bounds even for bikers due to the slippery nature but just after monsoons would be different scene i guess

Well I am in for that route. Have heard about it before as well. The only fact is that now I am left alone with my NOMAD. No one who accompanied me before are available after their marriage for any trip on bike or car.

Me... still like to take NOMAD out but now limited as I dont wanna hookup somewhere alone. Well, me too got married and someone waits for me at home. But any of you guys planning lemme know I will be in either NOMAD or my ESTILO

Excellent effort, chaps. Was an RD350 owner myself in the late eighties. Wish I could do all this now! Here's an interesting link:
