Excellent Travelogue and Great Pictures. . Makes me want to head out over there right away. With a temple trip just done and the Kaas trip planned, finances are not right to come there. Is Oct/Nov a good time to visit? We could definitely plan on one that time.

KRRaj - Oct/Nov may not be such an ideal time like April to July but still you can spot the cat if you are lucky....And Pench open aswell in October...You might wanna cover Tadoba along with Pench....

Here's one more landscape photograph from this visit.

Beautiful sunset over Telia...
This was the last day that these roads were open for tourism. They were closed down from the next day because of flooding.

Thanks KKRaj. Oct/Nov, as per the forest officials, is the mating season and one is sure to spot the striped ones in action. Also most people say that tiger sighting in Tadoba can be pegged at 100% - in all seasons.

closed? Telia is one of the most beautiful places within Tadoba. As usual, great snap Doc! I will try and send you the python video over this weekend. Was too caught up with office work over the last few weeks.

I"m a big fan of wildlife and especially I love to watch hours together Lions and Tigers on the NGC. I have never been on a safari but would like to go on one. I would like to know if there are any good Tiger safari's in Chennai / Tamilnadu. I know about the mudumalai Tiger reserve. Can anyone throw some information on it?

back in water.... and on grass......

Got back today morning after 2 1/2 days of being near near the cubs during the Wildcats Anniversary expedition to Tadoba.
This was also a mini team-bhp meet in the forest with Soumya (team bhp username : Genesis) joining in from Mumbai with his wife apart from a few other wildlife enthusiasts from around the country.

A few friends were super lucky to spend close to 16 hours with the cubs.

A few teaser pics. They got them in water and on green grass.
