I'm en route to Wayanad this weekend (reaching friday afternoon and leaving sunday morning) from Bangalore by my car.

Any pointers on the list of places I should visit?

That's the exactly how I did my trip. You can actually follow the same pattern

So, what all places did you visit? As in, how was your tour itinerary!

Go through my posts on first 2 pages of this thread. Or if you are too lazy to do that, go through my blog post on my website. I have given day by day and place by place itinerary of my entire trip.

Hey.

I have a slight problem with the accommodation part; not finding any for the 25th. We had found a cottage but since we din't pay the advance quickly, the cottage is available only on 24th.

We are 5 of us, looking at a cottage/hotel mainly in Kalpetta.

I checked many hotels (including Green Gates); do you know any other hotels I could check or contacts for homestays etc?

Above is a link to my trip to wayanad. Check with harithagiri hotel. Its decent and i got the reservation two days before my trip. Since it is chrithmas...I don't know the availability.

Nice pics. You have visited wayanad at the right time...unfortunately during my visit weather was really hot

...i would've loved the foggy weather.

Bathery is my hometown. Just 20kms from Kalpetta. If you haven't found an accommodation yet, PM me your budget/more details.
