So you do have to buy tickets to go to the valley? I didnt know that, thanks for the info. BTW how much is the ticket?

Why dont you put some more pictures of the valley itself as others have already requested?

great pics mate. it surely is a heavenly place..reminded me of my trip to Valley during Jul09. How was the weather? good to see that you also made the trip to hemkund sahib..because of higher altitude there are more flowers to be seen around hemkund sahib than the valley. especially Brahma Kamal and Blue Popy..

IMO for any trek, high ankle shoes are a must. While walking on uneven ground you tend to twist your ankle a lot. Any kind of extra support at the ankle can save you from a broken ankle.
