Thanks guys. Thats what even I was thinking. NH5 runs from Chennai to Calcutta. But many snaps showed 2L roads. Hence the doubt. This settles it.

Nice pics and a nice road. Didn't know that Andhra had such greenery. However, I love a driving a four wheeler in the ghat section than a two wheeler. Though the wind in the hair and the cool climate are missed inside the car.

Nice travelogue Abbas. Every time I go back home(damanjodi) I go via vizag and trust me I would have been over a thousand times on this road but yet its so peaceful and serene, btw next time try extending your trip to damanjodi its worth it :) would love to catch up with you sometime when I am in vizag :)

Nice pictures...makes me very nostalgic!!!

Those bike trips to Araku during college days...sometimes we used to go beyond araku towards Machkund etc., however never tried the salur route...
