Sorry friends for not updating this thread, was very busy, Any way, the boadt ride takes around two hours and then it reaches Gudvangen, from Gudvangen there is bus which takes you to Voss railway station and then by railway we were back at Bergen.

The total trip of Fjord cost us around 10000 rs, It was the trip of my life and very eventful.

After getting down at Bergen , it was 8.00 pm in the evening, we had our dinner an went back to our hotel.

some pic.

Re: Norway in Nutshell- Fjord tour

Hi Uday,
Beautiful photographs. I will be in Oslo this Friday and Saturday, of which Saturday will be available for sightseeing. Time and cost permitting i would like to see their countryside, just like last photo of post #17. What about sightseeing within the city and/or around it? Any advise?
Cheers,
Guite

Re: Norway in Nutshell- Fjord tour

In July this year, my son and I will be in Gothenburg (Sweden) for my son's football tournament. After that, we have one and a half (1.5) days free before we need to reach Copenhagen to fly back to India.

Specifically, we are freed up on Sat late night, and our flight to India departs Copenhagen on Mon 15.30 hrs.

Is there a Norway-in-a-nutshell we can do, esp a scenic one that involves being able to see fjords or a ferry trip or scenic-train/finicular-rail/cable-car trip?

Re: Norway in Nutshell- Fjord tour

amazing reflection pics, but AFAIK the fjord have high winds due to venturi effect and all that, but if they do, then how is it that the water is so calm for these lovely reflections,

Great Pics
