@Samsan. You drove the PT cruiser? I absolutely loved the pt cruiser. I've driven all those vehicles you've put up and more. Reading what you put there brings back fond memories.

I had recently take a RAV4 from Advantage rental in Salt Lake City. It was a great deal $250 for 3days including the insurance. It was on amazing car, but kinda guzzled fuel :(

I too had the opportunity to drive multiple cars in US. Almost all the time at Enterprise and few times from Budget and Avis.
Bumper2Bumper insurance is my choice always even though its costlier option. Whatever the damage, i just need to sign and walkout.

Cars i rented from so far:
VW Beetles
GMC Acadia
Nissan Versa
Jeep Commander
Dodge Avenger
Dodge Caliper
Dodge Grand Caravan (biggieee)
Ford 250 Truck (Home depot rentals)
Hyundai Accent
Ford Taurus

Driven models from friends & colleagues:
Mitsubishi Gallant
Volvo S80 (i think.. not sure)
Infinity T something
Toyota corolla (I owned)
Honda City/civic
Nissan Altima

Cool cars! How much did the Sonata return you? The new one returns 35 to the gallon on Freeways.

Yes they do. But again depends on the city.
You can also try Budget or Avis

Which city?

Hey you are pretty near to my place!
Enterprise does rent out some off beat vehicles, but most of their lineup are vehicles that are used in our day-to-day life.
I remember some guy asked if they rent out the Mustang couple of weeks back (I was at the rental office then), and they replied that they do not do the Mustang, and if someone wants it they have to specially request it from some other branch.

I am saddled with a Chevy Cobalt here from Enterprise and its the lowest of lowest trims. No central locking, no power windows. Thank god it has a stereo at least. Planning to drive down to NY for the weekend.

What a strange predicament. I am in the US currently and in half a mind to rent a car here. Getting around is so tough without a car. Add to that, it's like 4 degrees so walking around is out of the window.

The Niagara Falls are like an hour and half away from where I am. I am so tempted to rent a car and drive down....
