We were on schedule as our driver could make up for the delay and reached Lucerne city.
This city is most centrally located to most of the Swiss towns as well as the tourist attractions like many mountain ranges.
We were dropped in the city near the Chapel bridge which was built to protect the city.
It is a wooden bridge.

We were surprised to see Indian restaurants in this place suggesting a lot of Indian tourist traffic here.

The streets were busy with lot of fruits and vegetables.
The variety of the breads were amazing

More pictures of Lucerene.Bertel Thorvaldsen's famous carving of a dying lion. The carving commemorates the hundreds of Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution.
Mt Platus is situated near to this place and half of the bus intimates got down for this tour
We proceeded further about 30mins more to Mt.Titlis

Did you try food in Indian restaurants? I know its silly to eat Indian food outside which you do everyday when you have other varieties. But just want to know taste wise. Here what I find is pathetic and a total rip off.

The major one in Luzern, Kanchi is a total waste of money in my experience (Especially if you are an Indian). They charge you a handsome amount and the food is nothing to write home about. I stick to the local food when I travel or find a McD.

Thank you TaureanBull for your comments.We did try Indian food but the taste is different and too expensive.
Most of the time we were eating the food that was available.
We both had vegetarian food and it was never a problem.
The local food was with a lot of green leafy vegetables.

I agree with A350XWB.Local food is quite good.We have already got used to the Pizza and burgers so food should not be a problem for short time.
We had carried a lot of instant food which also helped us.

Thank you ampere.I more thing I noticed was people carry their pet animals with them.
Even in most of the trains and public places there were clear indications whether they can carry their pets or should refrain from carrying the pets

Some Picture on the way to Mt.Titlis.
Our guide was telling us that the snow was early by a month.
There were foods due to rain in this region 4months back and the roads were cut off and people had only way of transportation was by helicopters.
She was suggesting probably the global warming is changing things.

This trip to Mt.Titlis was the first time that we both going to experience snow for the first time.
As we go to the base of Mt.Titlis a ropeway was there. This would go to two levels of assent to the mountains and the final assent would be the revolving Rotair.
As we cross these mountains in the ropeway below us were herds of cattle with bell tied around their necks producing a good sound as they graze the grass.
