Thanks guys. I have some more photos of Turin , Italy. I shall post them here rather than start another thread.

Oh and yeah: I have kept records of all my costs and routes, so if anybody plans to visit Modena , feel free to ask.

Superb superb superb!!!

Man, for fairly ugly looking cars those Paganis sure can get my pulse racing!!! Loved the shots with the engine cover up. Ofcourse the interiors are so intricate and amazing too.

Great writeup man. I loved the small things you mentioned as passing comments :)

BTW - thats a Murci on the wall, not a Gallardo.

PS - Yep, after reading p_p's post below i remembered that its probably the best reventon pic ive seen! (Natural looking)

Beautiful pictures must say. Each has a feel to it. The Reventon picture was just awesome.

Fantastic travelogue artofzen.

Hope to do the same pilgrimage soon.

absolutely fantastic trip you had.. weren't there any tractors at the lambo gallery :)

Thanks :)

@KW : there were no tractors displayed, but some pics , YES.

@ artofzen: Thanks a lot for sharing the moments. I'm still drooling over the photographs posted by you. Amazing simply amazing.

artofzen-you lucky ......dont know what to call you, anyway amazing pics and really cool write up,by the way, good that, enzo pissed that guy [the guy] ,why do u think we have something like the reventon now???lol.

artofzen- the boys are right, this is a piligrimage for people like us and must be done at least once in a lifetime (BTW-good to see that VW is doing its bit to keep Mr Lamorghini's aura alive).
Thanks for sharing the experience with us, really enjoyed it. Cheers

Hey artofZen.. I didn't notice this thread until Designation talked to me about it.. I'm not a frequent visitor of the travelogues section other wise.

Very nice pics and write up. Loved the Pagani bit the best. And keep the accounts with you, you can be my host and take me out when I am visting.. :D

Lol.. i guess thats the euro version of the PT cruiser thats available at the rentals here in US. I tell them, get me anything but that.

Do you have any more pictures of the concept Miura ?

@16v100 - There are salesmen who can sell ice to eskimos , but none good enough to sell a Lancia Musa to rest of Europe :)

@Bottle - I should have some more pics, I shall dig them up

Hi Artofzen,

Wonderful trip you've recounted here! Can you please send me info about the costs and routes? (Will pm you my email id)

Also, you mention, there's a slightly more expensive option which allows you to drive a Ferrari on the track. Can you point me to it?

Thanks,
Adi

That Zonda Uno, what a car. :D

There are only three things to do in Maranello if you dont own a Ferrari.

1. Take the mandatory snap in front of the Ferrari building.
2.Galleria Ferrari
3.Drive a Ferrari.

Driving a Ferrari in Maranello was a thing to check in my To Do List. But when I knew that it was 100 EUR for 10 minutes and that too in those small lanes , I decided against it.The max speed you can hit is 60 KM befire you hit something else. 30 pounds more and I can drive the the new 458 Italia on the track and RIP it.

Agree with most of the things that you say. Except that with our desi negotiation skills, we can get around the 100 Euro figure, I paid nearly half of it with video included and 15mins in a F430. All you gotto do is talk, remember that Italians are our european counterparts clap: haha. And yes, cops are not a big deal and I got to hit 160kmph and it was an experience like no other. Next time when I go, its either going to be a 1hr drive in the mountains or on the Fiorano :) Btw, the store that I rented from was called Pit Stop Ferrari, google can easily help, its next to the Museo Ferrari, on the right hand side when you face the museum.
