Good stuff!!! .. not many who travelled to Yellagiri (including me) would've observed that.

Re: A short trip to Yelagiri Hills - A Photolog

I had been to Yelagiri somewhere in 1991 or 1992. Loooong back. It was not at all a touristy place then. Nice pictures. It looks like the place has made a lot of progress to attract more people to this hill station now.

Re: A short trip to Yelagiri Hills - A Photolog

Sorry for the late update. Did not find enough time to classify the pics:

Nature Park:

The first place on our itinerary on day 2 was the Nature Park. It took a while for us to finish the break fast and we left for the place at around 10:30 AM.

The place was only a 5 minute drive from the hotel. The day was fairly hot and 10:30 AM meant a harsh sunlight for the photos too.

We were in for a surprise at the park as there were less than 10 people at the time we went. It was good to see such a large area void of anyone, but the flipside is all fountains and one aritificial waterfalls were turned off. We spent around 45 minutes here.

Some landscapes that I managed.

Re: A short trip to Yelagiri Hills - A Photolog

Am driving to Yelagiri from Chennai on Aug 11th (Sat), 2012 with my family. The last I did this trip was more than a year back.

Anyone done that trip recently? How is the road between Vaniyambadi and Yelagiri now?

Thanks in adv.
