From Marseilles through Nimes, skirting the Cevennes National Park, then southwards to the Millau viaduct, on to the A75, finally reaching Montpelier and back through the Cote. In a BMW M3. Sigh. A dream drive.

Midpoint between the A75 and the N106 is a hamlet called Ganges!

Hmm, if the wishes were horses

Anyway, thanks for the information. Will give a thought in case I get a chance [excluding the BMW M3 portion. ]

The total toll was 51Euro for a KM of around 500KM [Just the motorway].

2 of them are high. One when entering France [23Euro]and once you cross Nice[10Euro].

So, rest are like 1.5euro - 2.8 euro ranges.

Nice pictures Mahesh, you are one lucky fella to see all this on your official trips, these are the times I feel the need for a well paying employer with work overseas.

Sir,
Grass is always greener on the other side.

Mahesh, it appears that you have kept up with your bicyling, walking, trekking etc. i see you doing all these (apart from driving and having fun) even when on business trip, great, keep it up.

Re: A different coastal drive - Milano to Rousset.

From Rousset to Genova, it was all blue sea on the coast.

Now after crossing Genova, it was all white snow everywhere. At times, it was very foggy too, and it was difficult to maintain speeds.

Here are some of the pictures,

Wonder how nice it would be traveling on those rack.
