Definetely go ahead. Though it will be summer season, but you'll always have cool breeze in this region.
The only thing you'll miss is the GREENERY. The sight is entirely different just after the rainy season :-)

I think you can consider. As Sushrutha said, weather should still be cool and will be a good getaway

This is the road to 'Galikere' which means 'Windy lake' in Kannada. If you had gone further, you would have found a lake. It is literally very windy at this place and from here there is a trail to Kemmangundi.

Actually, I have posted them on a travelogue of mine (check link). But, that was in monsoon and the pics are very foggy.

Re: A Trip To Chikmagalur

That was Kudramukha right? I thought you said about a lake beyond Baba Budan. (Some where in CKM).

Correct me if I am wrong.

Nice to the see the next set of pics. If the falls has to look this beautiful from a distance itself. Imagine from a closer distance. This place is just amazing.

Re: A Trip To Chikmagalur

It is a great place. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and open on the 4th side. The winds hit you like anything. Even I have not seen it in sunlight though.

Thanks. I certainly missed this river thinking that there is nothing special to see in that area. Also wanted to get back fearing thick fog. We had couple of close calls while driving

Re: A Trip To Chikmagalur

Beautiful pics of the homestay Rajesh.
One of the best homestays around.
Though they charge you a bomb if you take the Main building for stay, but it's defintely worth staying there.
By the way which camera do you possess, the pics have come very crisp n clear

Edit - I saw your 1st post about the camera (Panasonic Lumix)
