MP Ghazab Hai - Into the heart of Tiger country + Dhuadaar-Bedaghat

All the wildlife sanctuaries have been opened for public after monsoons and the planning started to mark our presence at some of them. But our busy schedules have made us push it month on month. After a lot of research and with suggestions from our fellow Team BHPians, we have zeroed in on Pench and Bandhavgarh. The new year has arrived and finally we have decided to do it between 21st and 25th January 2011. Asusual, there are some drop outs and we have gathered a group of 6 which would be ideal during the travel and safaris. A lot of research on accomodation and finally we have decided to book the MPTDC resorts in both the location. We visited the MPTDC office in Hyderabad and booked the accomodation including food and 6 safaris, 3 each in Pench and Bandhavgarh. Now that all the bookings are done, we started dreaming about being in the wilderness. This being my first visit to a national park, the excitement is at its peak. As my friend Arun(ExtremeTorque) and couple of others have already visited Tadoba, I started getting my questions clarified on how it would be in a wildlife sanctuary. Fingers crossed for the D-day.
Before we get on to the actual narration, here are some teasers:

CrankShaft05,
Let the show begin!

There is another Hyderabad guy revisiting your thread very frequently, as we are planning Pench-Bandharvagarh or one of them in the first week of February. Loaded with photographic gear and food, we are hitting the road in two Scorpio's, God willing.

Coordinating with Dr. Ghosh, has been and always is our man in central India.

Your inputs are valuable, we too should meet one to one soon.
Regards,

MP was 'Gazab' indeed! We loved every inch of MP, its forests, its roads, its people - everything was just perfect. Prashant, its time you start bringing on the real stuff and i suggest you break-up the TL, daywise.

Re: MP Ghazab Hai - Into the heart of Tiger country + Dhuadaar-Bedaghat

Good Morning Coolcat21,
Hopefully, we will get some decent captures, like yours.
My emphasis mostly is on habitat and landscapes this time while the others from the group will be zooming in on wildlife.
The urge to shoot wildlife is too strong, I will end up with those shots too, reason why I myself will be carrying two cameras, one full frame with a wide angle (50mm prime) another with a zoom.
Regards,
