| Trip to Paathiramanal - A Photologue A photologue of recent trip to Paathiramanal island from Kottayam, Kerala. Started at 12:00noon and completed the trip by 8:00pm. Waiting for the bridge to open.  Opening ...  Ready to go.  Kerala Government Transport Service - proceeding to Kottayam Boat Jetty.  Sailing through ...  Birds are also enjoying the beautiful weather.  A bund  Narrow path is over. Now, approaching the Big Guy - Vembanadu lake.  |

| Re: Trip to Paathiramanal - A Photologue Wow! Dish Antenna too. May be they are experts in keeping the direction of the dish to the satellite.  We have double decker ones with restaurant upstairs.  Relaxing ...  Excellent views.  Why to sit in the sun - let me also have some cover.  Good at balancing the umbrella.  Sit back, relax and enjoy!  Not many resorts - we still have some greenery here.  |

| Team-BHP Support   | Re: Trip to Paathiramanal - A Photologue I was looking at Google maps to figure out the location of the island. This seems to be right opposite to Kumarakom. However I have not seen public carriers on the Kumarakom side who can ferry peoples to Allepey side. (Are there any?) My thought was, if one visits the resorts in Kumarakom (Taj/Zuri/Lake-Resort etc), wont they took people for a visit to these places? Nice pictures there. By the way I am still for the island to surface!  |
