Default Hyundai Getz GVS tyre upgrade

I have a Hyundai Getz GVS 2005 model which has a 155/80 R13 size tyre. I was wondering if I could replace it with a 175/70 R13 size tyre. If this is not possible what would be a good upgrade ? Also, I would like to get a rough estimate of how much a set of 4 tyres cost ? Thank you.

Yes, u can go ahead with 175/70 R13.
If u want to move to 14", u can get a 175/65 R14 set.

I recently bought a set of 175/70 R13 Bridgestone S322 for 10K.Includes alignment and balancing.

Default Hyundai Getz GVS tyre upgrade

I have a Getz GLS and upgraded from 175/70 R13 to 185/60R14.
you should try and keep the overall circumference of the tyre the same after the change.
The usual thumb rule is for every 10mm increase in width u reduce 10% of the profile.

Read this article to get an idea of what u can try...

Perhaps a strange post, but are there issues in downgrading tyre? I have Getz GLS (2005 model). Its 13 years old now and a secondary car for dropping my son to school and odd jobs- 6K max per year kind of drive.
I need to change the tyres and I am thinking of MRF ZTX A1 that costs 2700 Rs. The broader tyres ZV2K would cost 3450 Rs.
Does anyone see issues in shodding Getz Prime tyres on Getz GLS (1.3)?

Do you mean downgrade from 175/70 R13 size to 155/80 R13 ?
There will be no issues as such because the lower variant came with 155s from factory.

Yes, that's the downgrade I am talking of. Thanks so much for the confirmation.
