What say ?Anyone tried this?
1. Why do you want to fit 185/70 R15??

2. Where will you find that size??

Eh?? I don't 185/65 is available even in Yoko. Are you sure, you're not confusing it with 195/65 R14?

And if getting stranded is your concern, then stick to either 185/70 R14 or 195/60 R15.

Hello everybody

I bought my Swift Vxi (ABS) around a month back. I want to get the alloy wheels now. I wanted to know, is it a good idea to get alloys right away or wait for more time and then get it?

Sorry, if the post sounds too ignorant. I am one!

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. Mods, kindly pardon!

You can upgrade your rims and tyres at any time.
There is a possibility that if suspension / brake issues arise in your Swift in the first year, Maruti will say that you've voided your warranty because you changed the wheels and tyres, even though that would probably have nothing to do with it.
You can, however, argue with them if you talk knowledgeably.

I upgraded, as did a lot of Swift owners on this forum, to new rims and tyres within a week of getting my car.

Guys, I know 205/55 R15 is the right upsize for Swift but what difference does it make if I go for 205/50 R15 or 205/50 R16?

205/50 R15 - Wrong upsize?
205/50 R16 - Too much for a swift?

I like the 50 profile! What are the disadvantages? or any advantages?

Hi Guys,
I am a new member and have been keenly following the fabulous articles on tyre & rims. I have booked my Swift Vdi white and is expecting delivery early next month.
I am interested in upgrading my tyres to 195/60/R15 with Yokohama Es100 tyres. Can the experts confirm as to whether I am on the right track track or not? The exchange price against the stock tyres is around 33K (4 rims & tyres). Is the price Ok?
