Vik,

Nice looking alloys and they suit well on your car.

V rated tyre can be driven at 240KMPH for approx 10 minutes. After this it will be destroyed.
I think on indian roads, we have to reduce 10 to 15% of this speed rating value because of poor road conditions .

You are right djay.

Though the rating might give an accurate value, we all know that our roads are actually 'A' Rated and can take at the most 'B' rated tyres on them!!!

O.T - Hey aparth, is it the 3 series or the new 5 series? How did you know it is a 3?

It's deifinitely a 3 series. You can tell by looking at the headlamps and the size of the car. The new 5 series is bigger and looks more 7 series-ish!

It's a 3 series.
Check out the first pic and see the profile of the tyres. The alloys are almost level with the road. Wonder how he manages to ride them. The other beemer that he got has an even meaner alloys and ultra low profile tyres. The car wasnt there when I clicked these.

Those beemer alloys are the same ones they used on the CS Concept car.
Fell in love with the alloy design since i saw them on that car but dint know BMW has commercially started selling these alloys.

Cant wait to get my hands on a 15" version of the same design. The day i find these, thats the day i change my alloys

P.S - 19" is crazy. Must be needing new rubber & suspension components every few months unless its hardly driven or doesnt go above 50 kph.

That's the same set of wheels on my Esteem... Understated, yet very appealing, nice choice.

I've seen the same on a couple of race esteems, so must be very sturdy as well...

Cheers!
