That is an awesome looking alloys undoubtedly. But dont you think that is gonna take pretty good amount of beating as there is very less rubber between the alloys and the surface (unless you drive it on the good surface or fly)

True. This is strictly used only for city drive. It's quite bumpy

Iraghava, that's a neat combo for the Getz. One question, won't 15" ers and that too AD07's be overkill for a 1.1 ltr Getz prime.

Also could you give reviews of the AD07? and how much did you pick them up for?

Bong Mallu - That car has a turbo charged engine under the hood - don't go by the sticker The "cheewing gums" are in perfect tune with the Turbo charged engine.

For a 1.1L Getz sure they would be overkill. They aren't overkill for Gabbar though

And if you noticed, the 1.1 Getz never comes with a badge like that on the back!

I'm still in the process of running them properly, only done a 1000 kms so will write a comprehensive review later. But as of now immense grip, very stiff tyres so transmit all kinds of road condition details back to the driver, a large amount of road noise too but surprisingly no tram lining. Tremendous tyres but one has to be ready for the compromises of running such an aggressive tyre.

And in 195/55 R15 they cost 7340/- per piece.

205/40 on an OHC? Err, don't you think both the width and the profile are overkill for the car? You'll have a car which drinks too much fuel, and the ride goes SLAM, SLAM, SLAM!

Ishan, isn't yours Getz D? Moreover, this 1.1L insignia actually came with Santro Zip Drive. Ishan, why the 1.1L stuff?

Nice wheels there, must've been first set of Yokos for you?

Thanks Cityvic, the retail on these rims was about 21k for a set of 4. I got a discount on them.

Tanveer - Read the ownership thread of my car to get the complete picture

And no, this is the second set of Yoko's. I've briefly tried a set of A.Drive's in the past on another car.

Yup, i must agree that the ride quality goes for a toss. And about FE, you might lose about 1kmpl.

But on the other hand, it looks super hot!

Excellent wheels but how is the ride on this? I'm sure its a hard ride. How long have you been on this set up? Any issues with suspension, etc?

Btw, is that a front flat tire in your last pic?
