@Dolphin: Thats a Great looking Swift, one of the best I have seen.
I must say you have maintained your vehicle really well
Lastly, I like these new alloys more than the earlier one's.

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

@Khoj

I already sold them. I had advertised on team-bhp classifieds.

@thedreamcatcher

I checked on google. It is listed on JustDial and has some contact numbers. Nothing else apart from that, like, designs, catalogue or even a website under development. Maybe they souce the wheels from Taiwan and market them here. Just my guess.

@RemingtonSteele
Thanks!

Also could you please let me know from where did you get the exhaust pipe end and how much did you pay for it , actually im also looking for similar pipe end

Cheers

Hi Schoudhury,
It's not an end pipe. It's a Remus muffler. Am selling it. Have advertised in the exhaust section in team-bhp classifieds.

i got the OE alloy wheels and the parcel tray for 10k from my dealer as a part of the select kit.
drop in a mail to Honda asking them to try and make the kit available for you, no harm in giving it a go as it is really worth the money spent and look pretty good.
otherwise it is better spending the money on aftermarket alloys with a varied amount of choice.
Superboy,I have an anhc.We got it in 09.I am planning to add alloys to it.When i inquired with the local dealer regarding the prices of the V model alloys they quoted 21k.I had done that after seeing your post that you got them for under 10k.
Should I too email Honda and get a select kit.Add the alloys and then sell the rear parcel tray somewhere.Does Honda add kits to old cars like which were sold few months back?

@Dolphin - Those are unique alloys you got there. Love the deep dish layout as well as the design. They really stand out!

@superboy44
I called up Honda one 2 one and asked for select kit and they in turn passed to local dealer, who then called me up and said select kit consists for front and rear spoiler, door chrom sill plates, rear parcel tray and alloys. Obviously it was an attempt to sell lot of accessories. When I asked only for alloys and rear parcel tray, he quoted 21.5K (4 nos) and 2K respectively. May be I should check with other dealers and Honda for the price!

with the sales of the jazz being dismal to say the least i am sure Honda would oblige to make sure the existing jazz owners are kept happy which could be important enough to keep the jazz sales from tricking down further.
Honda is actually pretty keen in this aspect to keep up their customer satisfaction.

are the tyres fitted in the wrong direction in the black Polo? The alloys are beautiful.

The spoiler is very neat.

I haven't seen the bill or anything, but I'm told it's around Rs.48k for the wheels and Rs.38k for the Neutons.

It's been double checked. The tyres have been fitted as per the direction of rotation.

Actually, the spoiler is yet to go on the car. What you're referring to is just part of the tail gate. And yes, it can easily be mistaken for a spoiler.

Don't know if it's appropriate on this thread, but I'll try to post a few snaps after the installation is done. Mods: Is that allowed?

Those wheels look fantastic! And the OE kit should set it off pretty well, once its on. Have you altered the suspension to accommodate the wheels/tyres? There seems to be a prominent gap between the tyre and the wheel-well. But I'm guessing that could be due to the angle of the photograph.

Great looking alloys on the Polo. But the disc brakes look puny for the wheel

The car's suspension is currently OE. I agree that there is a noticable gap in the wheel well, albeit it is not as much as it was with the OE wheel/tyre combo. We feel that 17" are the max that one can go for in a Polo, any larger will cause ride issues (it's already hard with the 17" and 45 tyre profile) and may scrape the body when fully loaded.

We have another 1.6 in white with 215/40 R17s (The Polo GTi's OE size) and the ride is unbelievably hard. That's why this car has 45s instead.

True, but the brakes work just fine so don't intend to play around with larger discs just as yet. A rear disc mod might be on the cards though.

The full monty, the Polo with the body kit and spoiler on. I must say the body kit doesn't look very substantial, probably due to the black colour.
