Yes,precisely. Those look really good.Infact when my hunt was on 3years ago for alloys i was looking for something like what your ride has.But found noting which looked like them.It just makes the tyres look really large. Its not too flashy nor too subtle its just perfect.

Hi Caroholic,

Could you provide more details about those fluidic alloys. Are you facing any ground clearance issues considering the i20 has soft suspension. And has the bump from 14" to 16" brought about a change in ride quality and handling.

I checked with the Hyundai dealer here and they said that its not possible to get ANHV alloys on the i20.

What are your tyre specs? Those wheels look truly amazing.

Abhimanyu,
It seems that you have purchased fake HRS alloy wheels at very expensive price for ANHC. Centre HR cap logo is fake & this model doesn't exist in HRS catalogue. What is the name /city of the dealer ?

Finally!

Upgarded my wheels and much needed tyres last evening. Picked a set of 5 Hankook which are way better than the JK Elanzo's.

Lol malik you and your fascination for white wheels . Damn you paid 14500 per tire and those rear wheels arches are asking for bigger tires. Congrats and how is the XUV doing ?

Evo alloys. Got it in Aug 2011. The prices might have gone up now. They cost me 20k for a set of 5.

I was very keen on 98 pcd though.
Had another problem with the alloys. The stock alloys for Emo Pk sit flush with the aid of the guide nuts. However, after market alloys do not have recess for guide nuts. So, you will have to remove them. As a result, the rim doesnt sit flush at the center of the hub(near the bearing). This causes vibrations above 80kmph (really scary ones). Need to fit hub rings for the same. Costs 400 bucks apiece for each wheel. Vibrations gone and the super smooth carpet is back. Got the rings from A-One Tires in Jayanagar.
Nice alloys bro.
Even after getting 98 pcd alloys , if you are needed to fit hub rings then why not get 100 pcd alloys and get them fitted with hub rings.
I that way you get lot more design of alloys to choose from .
I think raj_5004 also had the same issue even after getting 98 pcd alloys for this punto .

Cheers.

Excellent taste! I'm hard to please when it comes to alloy wheels, but it was love at first sight for me with your XUV's new legs

Good luck keeping the white, white!

Alloys & New Shoes for 82k old Verna

Just ordered yesterday a new set of wheels and thought I'd add alloys as well this time. Its my 82k old Verna CRDi bought in 2008 which I have no plans for selling since Diesel sedans cost a bomb now and the car is doing perfectly well.

Ordered 15'' HRS H478 in Hyper Silver. Attached Photo.

I have C Drive's which have done 42k so far and still have a few thousand left in them BUT 2 front tyres look dodgy now to me so though i'd change and not take a chance.

Ordered Yokohama AVS DB 195/60/15

Will post pics when I get them next weekend.

Its a very plane jane design.but i like it.It makes the tires look slightly larger than they actually are.Riding on Yokohama Es100 14".
Hey ,

I Saw your car the other day , the wheels look nice when moving more like the original vtec alloys , yes they do look big 16 inchers i would say.

Regards

Thanks .

I guess we will need to fit spacer rings with a 100pcd as well. In case of 98pcd, we can avoid the spacers, which is another additional critical interface! The issue arises primarily because on the stock alloys, the guide nuts hold the rims in place which we cannot use for aftermarket alloys. So, for 100PCD rims, we will need a spacer plate and the hub ring. Too much extra metal

Nice choice of alloys there mate! I think there was an XUV 500 with similar alloys on the Buddh Circuit as well. Ain't it? Anyway it looks really neat on your XUV.

Yea, GTO, we all know, you have a THING for alloys with five spokes! A little , your VTEC had sexy pair of wheels too! You know what, I tried reaching you to talk about it the day you posted that on the classified but couldn't reach you. :(

Best,

Give you some ideas while you're still scouting for wheels for your Scorpio.

Yoko-Geolanders in 265-65-17 were the only other options available which would have been an overkill in my opinion. I did a 1300 KM run both on the highway+asphalt and am happy the way the tyres performed.

Thanks GTO wrt to keeping them white been there and done that with my Baleno. IMO white wheels makes the ride look more Sporty.
