Congrats dude! Nice clean look on this Swift. Now, if only you were to drop the car 1-2 inches using aftermarket springs.. Would definitely look hottt IMO.

Did you buy tyres from authorized dealer with bill or through grey-market?

p.s : I'm also changing tyres to 50 or 55 profile S-Drives. Would probably go with 50 profile because I plan to drop the car 1.9" front and back.

Don't worry! The car will automatically lower down once Ashok gets his Monster ICE installed!

I apologize.. hehehe How could I discount that fact! Anyway, 16''ers with 50 profile rubber are a good match for the Swift. A light tint job would further enhance the looks. Just MHO.

Cheers

Thank you, guys!

@rev_hard, I bought them with B&W from the official dealer.
The Swift does look great when lowered. I saw a Pete's Swift VDi with 16" Borbets, Sport bumpers (front & back), angel-eye H/Ls & clear-lens tail/ls and some uber-expensive lowering kit (1.5L *gulp*) at my tyre dealer's place. Looked very very aggressive. But I'd rather spend 30K-odd (Bilstein lowering springs and stuff for 40mm drop) on damping, leather seats and tints.
I'm getting all-round tints done in another 2-3 months or so, as soon as Vitamin-M allows. I too think the car will look much better with tints.
Emmm... I'm not totally ruling out the lowering thing, though

@e_l, the Palio was sold about 2 weeks back (minus the ICE). Miss her.

@kp, nice job! Makes me wonder if I should have gone for Hyper-Black or at least Hyper-Titanium finish.

These are similar to the rims I have on my car albeit mine is silver in color. Are they Apollo Acelere Sportz rims?

Thanks finneyp!

A review is coming up soon. All the good and all the bad. I'll put in the review as soon as I complete 1000kms/1 month/1st service. Don't want to give knee-jerk reactions right now.

Thank you, buddy!

Yep, the tyres are 5800/- apiece. The rims came to 22000/- for the set of four. I got a very very good buyback on the stock rims (mine came with the new design alloys) -- a bit more than what I was promised first, but that's between me and my tyre-dealer

I do already miss the Palio on the damping and "solidity" front. Hopefully a detailed damping job will help on that front.
