Just came across this thread and I must have scrolled past almost the last 40 pages completely eye-stuck to some of those gorgeous set of wheels some of the members have on their rides.

Sharing my VW Polo's set of after-market wheels here. Nothing fancy though and they are very regular alloy design which I've seen on many set of cars here, but nevertheless they look decent on Polo too IMO. Its been around 3 and half years with the Polo as well as these wheels.

Alloy wheel - Plati 15inch
Tyres - Appolo accelere 185/60/R15

After lot of discussion within self, finally managed to upgrade wheels to below -

Brand: MOMO
Size: 15" 4x100 6.5J
Cost: 7.5k/wheel

Got them installed at Hercules Tyres (official MOMO dealer in Bangalore), overall experience was professional.
I must admit it has transformed the car stance entirely

Here is my ivtec honda with stock alloys. The reason i am putting them up here is because i have got them painted in a black gloss color. I have always wanted black wheels on my car and was confused since a long time whether to go for matt black or gloss black. I have seen many matt black alloys get dirty really fast and then the whole charm of having a matt look fades away.

My slightly modded Fiat 1100 with Punto alloys in gunmetal shade,


I always wanted gun-metal alloys but the PCD of 98 was becoming an issue.
These alloys fell in my lap like a blessing and lo-behold the design was perfect with icing on the cake being FIAT badge in the centre.

Sweet ride I must confess, nice idea to go for punto alloys suits the car very well. You can get them painted black and add a coating of clear on top and the ride would look more sweater with black alloys and red car combo.

Finally after a long deliberation, Upgraded my Duster Steel Rims to Official Nissan Terrano Alloy Rims. Procured this from a seller via our facebook group, who ships many products from Delhi to any part of the country.

Now let the pictures do the talking. Regret the picture quality as i had to reduce the same to fit it in 3 MB size limit.

Hi Prasanth, From your experience which one will you recommend for Polo TSI on Kerala Roads 16" or 17", I know it will be a bit different for GT TDI as it weigh more, but still would love to hear from someone who got experince on running 17". I was looking for 17" if the ride quality won't compromise much.
