Feelin Lighter....already

With the much appreciated help of my dear t-bhpian friend ( Mustafa ) - Cancerm, alloys are finally here.

After 5 months of deliberation & a few long rides across uneasy destinations - decided to get some alloys for my indi-ride.

Plati - PY 509 - INR 14.5 for set of 5 from Saifee's shop in S'cruz,Mumbai.

Immediate after-efects
1. Marked improvement in steering response.
2. Better braking
3. Car looks like a mini-monster now....( maybe am just halucinating )

Am still contemplating on getting the brake calipers & wheel-nuts painted in black. Any suggestions to finish off the detailing.

Hi Everyone,

Here's my car with Lenzo alloys (15") - White.

It looks great as car is also white.

1. Amazing steering response
2. Braking has improved a lot
3. Curves are now tamed

Another S-drive car. Rocking alloy and tire combination.

Inder Your swift looks neat with the white alloys and S drive combo. I guess you could have opted for 16inch alloys since there is considerable gap in the wheel well. Overall looks clean and elegant. Very subtle but nice. Congrats.

SRSrikant - Nice set of alloys. Do post a pic of the car so we get an idea on how it looks. Although this design is very common it still is a headturner. I guess the tires were just rotated since i see "FL" scribbled in chalk on the tire.

Nice!! Ashvin . Is the colour stock on the wheel or have you repainted it? Please give us a side profile picture of the complete car.

@ n_aditya

Yup, the tire rotation and alloy inclusion seem to have coincided as well, hence the FL on the RL...

Here's a pic of the entire unit....will post some more shots later as she's in for a polish-cum-touchup job for now.

Thanx VJ Mav - it's nice to hear good stuff about our beloved rides, isnt it.

In all honesty, credit must also go to my t-bhpian buddy - cancerm, who pushed my decision in this direction - and am actually enjoying the new look.

Cheers buddycheers:

. Looks very nice. Its a wonder what a good set of alloys (basic mod's) and a good wash can do to a car. Very well kept. Take good care of her buddy.

@ n_aditya : Am in complete agreement with you there. As pointed out by the gurus here, a good wash and well-maintained cleaning schedule can keep her brimming all along a longgg journey.

Thanx for your good wishes though.
