Are the tyres R drive or A drive. I have never heard of a Yokohama R Drive. There is an A Drive R1 though.

Edit: Thanks for clarifying Ishan.

Exactly my thought.

@Ankit, how is the ride with 17"chers? Do the tyres touch the body when turning? Btw, i didnt quite like the alloys, too bling bling for my taste

No it doesn't touches on turning but yea when loaded, rear tires touches the arches . And to be frank even i never liked the alloys to that extent , i would laways prefer multi spokes on a long car .

Thanks a ton guys for liking the alloys. Really mean it. I was in 2 minds as to whether to go in for the classic 3 spoke one of this one. But am happy that I went with this one. Brings in a little bit of 'bling' element to the Gypsy

These pics are taken from Vijay (swastikviji), so credit for the nice shot to him. I took Jammy along to get these alloys. Don't know about the make -- but 4x4 is what's written on them

Sultan, this is perfect. I told you naa, all the guys were smiling when you left looking at your Gypsy. One guy told me with a wistful look in his eyes "Sakkath gaadi sir" . It really has an amazing presence. The end result of all your mods is really stunning.

That is an awesome looking Gypsy. Sultan, you have definitely got the wheel-tyre combination right.

Cheers

it is very hard to explain in one line but aluminum can't get hard chromed but can get nickel so all the alloys which we generally seen in India & so called chrome are nickel plated.!!
