@ikoneer,

Why don't you try Hyundai OE alloys. I got one while buying the car itself.

They cost me 16.5K for a set of 5 and size is 13 x 4.5J. Only let down is that they don't have the killer looks of the chinese alloys. No worries of fake either

When changing the tyres, I was planning to trade them off for a 5 or 5.5J alloys as the ideal rim size for 175 is 5J though minimum rim size is 4.5J.

Deepak insisted me to keep them and he also told me that they are very very durable compared to chinese brands and will last long. I was reluctant at first but then decided to keep as I can save at least 10K.

He also told me that there wouldn't be any issues with fitting 175s on 4.5J rims.

Having done 3000 kms, I can vouch for this.

@Para:

OE alloys actually look dull to me (my view, do not intend to hurt your views please) hence it is not in my consideration.

This is the first time i went for an after market alloys and it was a very good learning experience for me.

I very much agree with you. They look bland and that is the reason I too wanted to change them . One of my friends even said "This wheelcap looks different and nice".

He very strongly insisted me to keep them. He also told me that some of the cheap alloys corrode over time because chennai's average humidity is high.

BTW, have you checked out apollo alloys ? There are various ones available in 13".

Are the following points enough to choose an alloy, anything else to check for a correct fitment
  1. Rim Size - 13"
  2. Rim Width - 5j (is it this?)
  3. Offset - ?
  4. PCD - 100

Ikoneer, the link to the Konig alloy on i10 but unfortunately it's 14". http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post1255564

Moreover, one member Taj got 13" Konigs for his Santro which are compatible with your i10. The link: http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-a...ml#post1309661

Link to Alloys on my Xing (Design No:373 Full Machined Gun Metal Finish 13x5.5j) : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-a...ml#post1341694

IKONEER, please retain the original Nuts as the aftermarket ones are prone to rust and other problems.

Hi VTEC,

Nice rims. I have always liked the Lenso SHU specifically for its multi spoke design & mirror lip & was even contemplating on getting myself a set. I however, feel a 205/55/R15 tire would look better on them. Could you share the offset of these rims?

Also, do you find it difficult to clean your rims maybe due to the close multi spoke design?

Hey guys. I'm buying a Chevy beat Black LS and was looking out for alloys when i came across this one. I'm sorry for the poor quality because i took the pic wit my phone but can anyone verify whether this is an original momo? Because i came across on a site that this model comes wit seven spokes plus this is a 14" and i thought momo started from 15". My knowledge is pretty poor so i'm asking you guys for help. I was quoted 21.5k for set of 4. My question is are they original? And if they aren't, are they worth it? Thanks !
