Actually I love them. It rained like crazy on my way back to Pune yesterday and I was able to test them in the wet. Great grip and road noise is reduced from the stock 165/80 JKs.

Also the alloys looks neat and matching very well with color of your ride .
Kool stuff.

Thanks Schou! I was a little worried about the alloy choice (the dealer said go with standard 4-spoke white, and my 4 year old screwed her nose up at my choice!) but once they were installed was absolutely certain it was the right choice.

valapad; like the stickering job. Wondering how Xylo would look if it gets a wider tyres with negative offset.

185/70 14 is the stock size of Swift and Ritz ZXi Variants.

I have always felt they were better than 165/80 14 on LXi/VXi

Can you please let me know why you hated them.

Hey JK, same question, why hated them ? they are the perfect compromise between ride, grip and steering tightness IMO

Yup- it was between the 185/70R14 and 195/60R15 for me. Both these have the same diameter as the stock 165/80R14 which enables buying only a set of 4. Final decision came down to price and the fear of losing the ride quality (excellent) that I get on 14 inchers.

Yes, mine are Plati as well; only difference is the lips of my alloys are black as well, while yours are chrome I guess.

these are the same as my Platis on my i20.... except mine have white lips on the sides of chrome spokes on a white car and your are black on a dark colored car. So they are both very appropriate ..!

Those are a mean set of alloys you got there. Would you care to share the contact details of the dealer on the thread or via pm.
