re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

I took some more pictures but they came out wierd, will try again tomorrow.

@Schoudhury, i like the debadged look and i guess i am one of those rare people who actually like the Baleno rear.

@planet_rocker yeah the parking sensors are an eye sore, let me see if i can paint them.

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Those are some wonderful wheels on the Baleno, and the tyres are top-notch! The matt-black look really compliments the shade of your car. But somehow, the wheels seem smaller than what they are. They don't look like they are 15"!

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Yeah they look smaller than they actually are. The black color and deep dish design have to be blamed. I have a doubt that the tyres are are overinflated as the ride is slightly bumpy. I also saw reviews on the forum for premji's in Thane and some had found their tyres to be overinflated than the reading shown on the machine. Will be getting it checked tomorrow. I got the Contis as i could not find Yokohama S drives in that size anywhere.

Pictures coming up soon.
Here are a couple of pictures of my latest upgrade (could only take 2 shots). Will follow up with the details and more pictures when I get time.

Great set of alloys. But like many mentioned, the view reduced the original size of the tyres. And I fee, if the body color is dark, then the alloys should be lighter.

Since your car is in blue, alloy in silver color would have been more flashy and WOW looking.

Just my 2 cents

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

@ heavy foot

The bluemachine with the darkened alloys are really imposing,
a look at your ride they suddenly look so MEANY!
I have never been a fan of corresponding brand ; but this Car is always about
standing out and has an IDENTITY to its makers in the indian automotive,
very classic looking retro build design.

Infact in my opinion i believe this the only time Jap's tried very hard to give it a massive european design right from the
drawingboard. I love Baleno's rear, no fancy showboating but simple - flat - plain jane classical approach.

on the choice of your alloys , i believe they comprehend it well , especially the B pillar's and the c- pilliars blackend shade .
I would have really stood out if you had an option for these Blackmachined alloys with CHROME / MIRROR lip , it would have
matched with the chromed window beading with a lateral view.
Overall its Neat , try to paint those sensors bodycolored and you are all set !

Requesting you to please post some of the interiors pics of your ride, its been a while to have a peek inside ehh?

Keep Revving
TND

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Hey thanks for the comments. I feel the same, love the design and was thinking of ways to get rid of the chorme bits. The interiors are plain jane nothing fancy, however let me check if there is any thread where i can post interior pictures.

Hey Dolphin,
neat wheels buddy. Could you share the pricing details for these.

@Heavyfoot,

love your ride, the de-badging with the colour scheme gives it a mean look. Even love your alloys, for they complement the looks of the car, superbly. Could you share the details on the wheels. I'm looking for something in matt-black or the gun-metal finish, for my white car.

Cheers

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

I know that the Lenso Samurai SC-04 is quite an old design/model available in the market for some years now. But, I absolutely love this
design and that too, in bronze color, I think they look fantastic. Recently, I was able to source these wheels in the color I wanted. I chose
them over the many other latest, good designs available in 17" in the market.
So, Lenso Samurai SC-04 (17"x7J) it is, shod with 205/45-R17 Yokohama A-Drive R1. Total cost Rs.58,500 (alloys-30500, tyres-28000).

Here you go-

Glad to know you like them. The wheels are Konig wideopen 15 "model and i paid 18k for them. If you look around you might even get it for cheaper. They are many designs available in the market and do look around in the good places before narrowing down. BTW for which car is it and what size are you looking for?

@ Dolphin, nice wheels man. I love the color of those.

Boy those rims are awesome .
Now i understand why these rims forced you to change and i must say they are simply beautiful.
How is ride quality compared to 14'' and 15'' that you had on your ride.

Good stuff Dolphin .

Cheers
