What size is this? and what tyre it's running on?
The rims are 17" and running on 205/40 yokohama A drives

Yes it is an NHC ZX, there is no way he is changing the size back to stock or even 15's He is running S-Drives, did not bother about the size

Cheers

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

^^Okay, but I am pretty sure that it was him, as there is very low chances of two Grey OHCs running on identical set of rims in Gurgaon. Maybe in the heat of the moment because of some peculiar incident he might have thought of getting back to stock, but subsequently drop the idea on realizing how sexy the car looks with these beautiful set of rims.

Always loved the Ferrari of yesteryear inspired star designed alloys. Do put up a pic of them on your car.

Really nice car indeed. No bling bling or add on's, yet the car looks very nice. I just have one question. If i am not mistaken i think the old zen's came with R12 size wheels right? And you have upgraded to R13. I just want to know whether the wheel touches anything when doing full steering lock to lock turns?

Thanks for your appreciation.

So you see, that's the fun part. No, not at all, no scraping anywhere even after a few very hard bumps that I missed, none whatsoever.
And the answer to why is-

Most of the people reported that 5.5J 13" would touch for sure, but, what really matters is the offset that you choose. This was the maximum positive I could find in the designs I selected, plus, I was instantly in love with the design when I saw it.

What we get in India in 13" mostly includes alloys with much lower offset than what we get OE, and that, causes the wheels to line-out from the fenders, and this causing all that scraping.
I personally saw that almost all the designs in Prestige have an offset in 20s, while what I got is 38 which is close to what Zen's stock wheels, I heard it was 45, not sure.

That is a very interesting way to get around this problem. I just put alloys on my santro, 13x5.5, offset of 25 and even with the same tyre size of R13, i noticed it touching a little bit, so was wondering how u might have pulled off. But thanks to you now i know.

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

You see, the offset of your alloy wheels is 25, too less, which brand, I am curious?

For me the offset of 38 was another deciding factor apart from the design.
I just didn't want to go for any modifications to the hub/suspension.

I guess I was lucky to get my favourite design in the specs I needed.
It was the last set available at Sai Mag Wheels.

25 is way to less. Can you post a pic of your alloys ?

Offset of santro stock rims is 46.

re: The official alloy wheel show-off thread. Lets see your rims!

Yes @kpzen, just what I said.

By the way, I remember you mentioning somewhere that Zen's wheels' stock offset is 45. Plus, your posts about alloys for Zen were very helpful for me when I decided alloys for my Zen. I went for 155/65 R13, on 13" HR alloys (38 offset).

I am just taking some time out to thank you for sharing your knowledge.
