Finally the much deserved upgrade has happened, moved the city out of the stock alloys and 175 profile MRF tyres to AD Alloys and continental MC5 195 60 R15

Was tempted to go with 16 inch rims but our road conditions made me want to keep a softer ride, thus stuck to 15 inches only.

There is a negligible weight added to the steering at low speeds, so negligible that you won't even notice. the EPS really is light.

Though looking at all the low profiles around you, this feels like too much sidewall on the tyre and probably the michelin would have looked more square, but having heard so much about the continental tyres decided to give the germans a go.

There is a great improvement in terms of road noise, braking and the ride quality. The only slight irritant is the wheels sit a little outside and might land up slushing the sides during the rains. Need to find a solution for that, if anyone has cracked it do suggest!

Personally, I've gotten bored of Revenge (absolutely no offense to Revenge owners; it's among the greatest looking rims to grace Indian roads ever); my favourites in Momo are Raptor, Quantum and now after your post, Scramjet!

Saw a Civic and then a Polo GT with Raptors in a beautiful gunmetal shade a few weeks ago; couldn't click pics as I was driving.

I know this reply is a bit late, but ... I had procured the same brand of alloys from Sachin's Auto Shop in Koramangala. The shop is located in the lane behind Bosch.

We have similar taste at least in alloys!! I have the momo quantum on my civic and I love it. The raptor design appeals to me but the shiny silver colour does not. Revenge too looks gorgeous and I had it on my old accord but that was almost a decade ago and now I don't want to have the same alloys once again.

The new massimo too is very impressive but on seeing both side by side I preferred the screamjet evo.

I don't know how the indian market is now flooded with Momo at such competitive prices. They are no longer coming from or manufactured in Italy. Rather are made in Thailand by momo. My rims are imported in march 17 from Thailand. Am in no way saying they are fake or suggesting that it's a replica just puzzling how it's cheaper than the uk or EU by about 25 % which is not how it is for most imports into india.

The last time I checked a momo in uk at halfords it too did not mention that it's made in Italy so I felt confident buying it locally in mumbai.

A set of 4 in size 16 can be got anywhere from 35k to 45k. Hub centric rings , valves and balancing is included.
