Definitely does qualify Sharath, I like the rugged look of the GV.

OT whats the chain all about .Did it get stalled in the muck that you had to get it towed out?

The new gen. GV looks hotter than the earlier model.
@samurai sir,is this SUV very heavy for hardcore off-roading???

No, it is not meant for hardcore off-roading. It doesn't have clearance or torque necessary for that.

Riju, what you are not seeing is that the left side tyres are in a foot deep gutter. This happened in the mud trail driving in Muthodi forest, the side just gave out (like a mini land-slide) and GV slided into the gutter. It had to be towed out using my brand new tow chain which I had acquired an hour earlier. You'll have to wait for the travel report for more details.

Your rims are too good!!! How much did you pay for them? Did you buy a set of 04 OR 05 rims? Also do these wheels fit in the spare wheel provision?

i paid 20k for the set of 4 ....i didnt try fitting it in the spare wheel...it may fit i guess

Hello All,
I have been viewing this incredible thread since the day i joined team bhp. Finally now i have got a chance to show off my wheels. Just bought a new set today. Snaps would be updated tomorrow.

Tyres : BF Goodrich 185/60/R14
Alloys : Lenso 14inchers 5 spoke machine black and silver
Price : 17k for alloys for a set of 5 and 3400 per tire
Car : Ford Ikon 1.6 ZXI Silver with Black racing stripes

Thanks to one and all at Team-BHP for making one of dreams come true. I really appreciate the quality posts in here.

Ooops.. Apologies..The alloys are from League (not Lenso as mentioned above in my previous post!!!)

The excitement of getting a new set of wheels made me forget the brand name!! Will take some time for this to settle in!
