I suggest to stick to the stock specs.
Or 205/60 R15 should be a good upgrade.

Did you check Bridgestone ?
I found many good reviews for this brand.
I have used Michelin tyre on my last car. They are very silent on road.
Breaking performance also good.

Could you please share the price details of Yoko?

Hi,

I bought my Ertiga VDI on 19.05.2014, and upsized the stock MRF-ZVTV to Yokohama Earth-1 195/65/15.

The upsized set fills the wheel well very nicely and the ride quality is much improved. Also, there were no signs of the rear wheels touching the inside of the wheel well on full load.

I suggest 195/65/15 is an appropriate upsize, which will give a good ride quality, stability and enhance the looks of the vehicle too

I am a big fan of Yoko-A Drives but sadly got to know that the A-Drives are not available anymore as Yokohama is promoting the Earth-1 range instead, but the Earth-1 is equally good as A-Drive, if not better...

Can you provide us more details, size of the tyres, your budget, your preference - comfort, grip etc.

I know people who have purchased a complete set from Snapdeal at very attractive prices and they are completely happy. There is a possibility that you might get old stock (a year old manufacturing date). So it's a personal choice really.

In this size, you can go in for Michelin XM2. Michelin's are comfort oriented tyres with decent grip. There's also Bridgestone B250 which is a standard fitment across various different cars. But it's a very average tyre.
There's an entire thread on XM2, so you can go through it and see if its suits your requirement.

My Ertiga VDi is on Michelin XM2 205/60/15 since the last 30,000 kms.

The good experience with this brand remains the same since I shifted to XM2 in the WagonR as well.

Since you have the top model which comes with alloys, I would suggest going for 205/60R15 or 195/65R15.
If it were not the top model, I would have suggested you get 16" alloys with 205/55R16.

S,T & H are speed ratings of the tyres. I would recommend you go for the highest speed rating available. Any tyres rated below S should be avoided entirely. You may also be tempted to say that the car cannot exceed 180 and hence there is no point in spending the money for a higher speed rated tyre, but there are pressure increase requirements even below the rated speed and a lot more complexity to the matter than meets the eye. On the flip side I would also add that a tyre rated better than a V rating would not make sense on a Ertiga as it can handle the full speed of the car without any operational changes.

The Good thing about the Ertiga is across variants - Diesel and Petrol, all models come with 15 X 5.5J Size wheels (Rims or Alloys).

Having fitted the 205/60/15 in the Alloys, I don't find too much of the Balloon effect on the sidewalls and hence the usable tread is not wasted as well.

I am too skeptical on aftermarket alloys that start at 6.5J even in 15 Inch, 5 Hole, 114.5 PCD which are likely to cause the wheel arches scrape with the tires upon full load and undulated road surfaces. Thanks to its not so generous wheel well.

The wheel well should accommodate what a Swift or dZire can, since they have the same tyres.
I am running 205/55R16 tyres on a dZire with 7" wide wheels with no problems whatsoever!
As a matter of fact, any 7" wide rim with a min diameter of 16" can be used on the Swift/dZire with an offset between 37-44. The same should apply to the Ertiga.
