Best tyre upsize for Baleno Lxi with stock rims

Hi..

The tyres which are coming with Baleno Lxi are too small for that beast...The same width tyres i have in my zen....165/80-13
So guys just wanted to know if there's chance of upsizing the tyres or even getting better tyres in same stock size...I simply hate those stock B'stone S322 very noisy n minimal grip.....

So are these upsize possible....!!! with stock 5j rims
1. 185/70-13
The best size for good tyre choices but will it work well with 5j rims

2.175/75-13
Dont think this size is available in any brand

3.175/70-13
Wrong upsize but will work well with 5j rims

4. 165/80-13
Stock size but are there any good tyre choices????

Guys pls dont suggest me alloys.....!!!!

regards

KP

I have seen a couple of LXi's with this size Potenza GIII's on the stock rim. 5J rim should be OK for 185/70. Go ahead with this if you don't want to upgrade to 185/65 R 14 on 14 inch alloys which in my opinion is a better option.

That's a major upsize for a Zen. I'm sure you must have put spacers to accommodate such big tyres.

You can also try 175/80/13 for the Baleno. This size used to come as standard fitment in Mitsubishi Lancer earlier. It will improve your ground clearance also.

Off topic, where do you stay in Faridabad?

175/60 R14. Get the Swift 5J 14" rims. Or the Optra's. Cheap...like 300 a piece.

Thats a great idea but wont that make the ride quality very poor in comparison..
side wall thickness
165/80-13 132mm
175/60-14 105mm

Also aren't optra rims 14"x5.5j rims ....n where do u get those for 300 a piece..

Whats your opinion on having 185/70-13 GIIIs with stock 5j steel rims...???
